Rita Springer.
Rita Springer is a gifted worship leader who started writing music for the church when she was a part of the Vineyard movement in the late 1980’s and 90’s. Her love of music became an extension that flowed out of her passionate relationship with God and what she describes as her musical ‘journal to God in private’ later became her public worship.
Rita published several songs with the Vineyard Music Group before signing an independent label deal with then Floodgate/Found Records, that kick started her recording career. She made six records under Floodgate/Found Records releasing passionate lyrics with prophetic undertones in songs like, Worth It All, I Have to Believe and You Are Still Holy.
In 2008 she began a worship school called DIVE. (Deep - Innovative - Vertical - Expression) Rita’s love for the creative arts cultivated her dream to see others use art to express passion and love for God. The School trains and encourages upcoming worship leaders/artists all over the world with weeklong intensive one-on-one courses. Rita has spent over 25 years touring, singing, and spear heading her own conferences for women, eventually releasing her first book, Finding Eve, in 2012.
In July of that same year Rita joined the staff of Gateway Church, located in Southlake, TX as an Artist in Resident and where she released her 10th record through Gateway Publishing entitled, Battles in March of 2017. In the summer of 2019 she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, signing a publishing/artist deal with Capital CMG. Rita is set to release new music in Spring 2020. She resides in Franklin, TN area with her teenage son, Justice.
